Our therapists are here to support you around a variety of issues from couples counselling, to building coping tools to better support your mental health and well-being, to exploring and healing from past trauma.
Counselling is a place where you can be completely yourself and have the space needed to explore who you are and what's important to you.
The Safe Haven Counselling team recognises that being able to serve you and hold space for you during some of your most difficult and vulnerable moments is sacred and we aim to fully honour your dignity and choice as we help you feel safe and move to a place of healing and growth.

Eric, a Canadian Certified Counsellor, holds over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. He has worked in inpatient and outpatient environments both in the USA and Canada. Eric primarily serves others in addressing addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, stress, and anger management, to name a few. He gives an empathic and flexible approach when working with others.

Hello! My name is Steph Evans and I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist.
I work with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, stress management and navigating life transitions. I specialise in supporting individuals and couples experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, birth trauma, and adjusting to life transitions associated with parenthood.
I approach counselling from a holistic perspective, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as narrative, existential, cognitive behavioural and solution focused approaches to tailor the therapeutic experience to your unique needs and preferences. I aim to provide a safe therapeutic environment within which you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences. I support adolescents and adults and provide both individual and couples therapy. She has over 14 years of experience working in mental health, palliative care/grief and bereavement, and individual, relationship and family therapy. Samantha uses an integrative, holistic approach that is based in attachment and humanistic therapy practices.
